Forgive them father for they know not what they do - Jesus

This saying from the bible was said whilst he was dying and being slain by his fellow man and yet still there was compassion. I am of the opinion that there is a healing in compassionate love which goes beyond rituals, mantras if we access the unconditional giving of this expression of loving.

I notice that the arrogance of a cat appears as soon as the 'I' identity is seemingly attacked and instead of forgiving it becomes defensive. The latter leaves greater pain and disharmony within. Yet the pride of 'self' created over years of 'self image' shows intolerance.

When I step aside and feel not the injury to the self and step into the shoes of the others pain I am able to forgive easily and have compassion. Its a life long learning.
